Locked behind giant stone doors lies the ancient city of Vilcabamba. Once the final hiding place of the Incans it's cavernous ruins are now the home to packs of wolves and savage bears. Find your way beyond its tunnel like paths to discover the Lost Valley, a lush ravine where dinosaurs still roam. [2]
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
So far no official announcement has been made that Peru will once again be a location Lara visits. From the way it has been mentioned several times in the Reveal Demo it is quite likely, though.
In the demo Lara and Jonah speculated that Trinity has been looking for Silver Box of Ix Chel in the wrong place (namely Brazil) instead of Peru, because they misread a Maya date and didn't take into account the earth's precession - the change of the tilt of the earth's axis over the centuries. The demo ends with an angry discussion between Jonah and Lara, who insists that she has to leave for Peru immediately before Trinity has a chance to figure it out, while he wants to help the people of Cozumel first after it has been devastated by a Tsunami.
