Anaya Imanu is a character from Tomb Raider Legend.

She has given Lara a hint that what she is looking for, a Stone Dais can be found in Tiwanaku. They later meet in Paraíso, Peru where they shared a bad experience years ago. During an archaeological dig their group was attacked by an Unknown Entity and all but Lara and Anaya were supposedly killed. After a run in with Rutland's Mercenaries in the town square they drive to the dig site, Anaya in her Jeep Wrangler, being chased by more mercenaries and Lara following on a Ducati Monster. They can shake their pursuers for a short period but they catch up to the two girls later on where Lara has to rescue Anaya from the shooting bad guys.

Anaya is a civil engineer working in impoverished areas of South America. She's an old friend of Lara's dating back to their days at university, and she was with Lara during the tragedy near Segou. She has since led a distinguished career of her own, routinely crossing paths with Lara.
