Arctic is a location Lara visits in Tomb Raider Underworld. It's also the setting of events in Lara's Shadow. The Arctic is also mentioned in the comic Tomb Raider: The Beginning.

The Arctic is the region around the Earth's North Pole, opposite the Antarctic region around the South Pole.

In this chapter, Natla orders the doppelgänger to bring her in a secret place in the Arctic, near of Helheim's entrance. This part contains lots of mechanisms and cauldrons full of Eitr. There are thralls from everywhere in this part.

In the Tomb Raider: The Beginning comic Samantha Nishimura mentions that she has past filming experience from the Arctic.
