This article has been added to the list of Articles Needing Improvement. Please help us to improve the article or section.
The following reason for adding it to the list has been given: Work in progress. Further reasons might be found on the "discussion page".
There are 14 Locations and 49 Base Camps in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Furthermore there are 19 Levels in the game's story mode and nine Challenge Tombs can be visited in the base game.
The table below shows where each level begins (but not necessarily where it ends); some levels span over entire locations.
Location Reveal History
From the first short trailer[1] one could conclude that the game would be set in a jungle-like surrounding in central America, probably the Yucatan peninsula, like hinted in the end credits of Rise. The trailer also prominently features a Maya pyramid, so Maya-themed puzzles were to be be expected. The Path of the Stars Puzzle on the website also consists of Maya-style glyphs, which further hints at a Meso-America location.
Paititi was later revealed in a gameplay video, but none of the other Peru locations.
