Journal of Lord Croft
From WikiRaider
Journal of Lord Croft is a set of Documents in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
This set contains mostly personal recordings done by Richard Croft after his work became discredited, but still contains useful clues to his research. He often mentions Amelia Croft, Lara's mother, and Ana, who he met at a conference and soon became his confidant.
Note that Lara listens to these notes before she discovers Ana to be a Trinity operative that was placed in her father's household to spy on him and influence his research. As a result Lara's words about her stepmother are not as harsh as in later documents after she discovered the truth.
Documents of the Journal of Lord Croft Set
There are six recordings in this set:
- My father's journals... he mentions my mother. He rarely talked about her. But it seems he did all this for her...
- Dad... I'm so sorry I didn't believe you. I wish there was some way to tell you what I've discovered.
- I remember this. Dad was buzzing with anticipation about this conference, even though he knew he'd be mocked.
- Ana made him happy again. She believed in his work. If only she knew I was out here in the middle of nowhere, chasing the same thing.
- Those were hard times for Dad, but Ana brought so much happiness into hos life. I couldn't resent her for that...
- Dad was so close to finding the Prophet's tomb... but something drove him to give it all up.
