The Extending Block (or Retracting Block in reverse) is an Obstacle in the Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Games. A similar object it the Raising Block that is extended vertically where the extending block is extended horizontally.
Occurrence
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- Tomb of the Timekeeper
- The first time this obstacle is found is in the second level Tomb of the Timekeeper where Lara has to use the Staff of Osiris on an Osiris Glyph to extend a block that helps her to roll a Timebomb over a set of extended Folding Ledges and onto a Retracting Bridge with a Timebomb Barrier.
