Angkor a location Lara visits in the game The Last Revelation and also in the movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.
It is a region of Cambodia which consists of ruins of a city that served as a seat for the Khmer Empire from approximately the 9th century to the 15th. Nowadays the area is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. [1]
The Last Revelation

At the age of sixteen, in the year 1984, Lara travels to Angkor Wat with her mentor, an archaeologist named Werner Von Croy. Their rivalry against each other started there, as Lara raced against Werner for the Iris.

In the first movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Lara went to Angkor Wat for the second time. This time she explored the Tomb of Dancing Light.
