The Turnstile Winch (or Rotating Lever, also known under the nautical term Capstan and the mining term Whim) serves as a trigger throughout a number of Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Games.

In Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation this trigger is also found.
- The Great Hypostyle Hall
- In The Great Hypostyle Hall you will find three of these triggers. The first has to be turned once clockwise, the second has to be turned twice (180 degrees) and the third has to be turned once counter-clockwise.
Tomb Raider: Underworld
In Tomb Raider: Underworld this type of trigger is found in the Croft Manor during the level Protected by the Dead and in similar form in the Southern Mexico Section.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris

- In the Tomb of the Timekeeper Lara has to use one of the turnstile winches to operate a set of Folding Ledges which will be raised for a short period of time, thus presenting her with a Time Run.
