Winston Smith (nickname: Jeeves) is Lara's Butler in the games.
Lara meets him in the Trainings Levels in Tomb Raider I to III (Lara's Home) and Tomb Raider Legend (Croft Manor) and in the Golden Mask level Nightmare in Vegas. He makes his return in Tomb Raider Anniversary, he only appears in the Manor level, in which he walks around the Manor as Lara explores it.

The Name Jeeves
It seems that the name Jeeves has been given to him by the fans, while the creators at Core Design decided to call him Winston.
Reginald Jeeves is a character in the books of P.G. Wodehouse and has since come to be a common term referring to a butler or valet.
