Bow Upgrades

The Bow Upgrades are an upgrade type in the Tomb Raider Reboot and Rise of the Tomb Raider specifically for Lara's Bow.

List of Bow Upgrades in Tomb Raider 2013

There are two different bow upgrades. Unlike Skills (Survivor Upgrades, Hunter Upgrades, and Brawler Upgrades), which are bought with Skill Points, these can be bought by spending Salvage.

Cost: found in-game.
Adds a rope as an alternate firing mode.
Cost: found in-game.
Arrows are lit on fire and ignite targets on impact.
Cost: 350 Salvage
Fire arrows spread a pool of fire on impact.
Cost: 650 Salvage
Arrows are rigged with grenade tips to explode on impact.
Cost: 250 Salvage (150 in earlier demo versions.)[1]
Reinforces bow limbs allow a stronger pull for increased damage.
Cost: 250 Salvage
Twisted bow string increases arrow damage.
Cost: 300 Salvage
Stabilizing weights improve accuracy resulting in increased damage.
Cost: 650 Salvage
Charged shots will penetrate armor or pass through soft targets to hit multiple enemies.
Cost: 200 Salvage
Wrapped string enables a faster fire rate.
Cost: 250 Salvage
Makeshift key ring release trigger further increases firing rate.

Upgrades in Rise of the Tomb Raider need specific Resources.

Stronger limbs allow for increased string tension and faster arrow speeds for more damage.
Applied to all bows.
Cost:
Wrapped grip provides better handling of the bow and faster draw speed.
Applied to all bows.
Cost:
Hide wrapped bow string around the nock decreases finger tension for additional hold time..

Arrow nocks on the bow string allow for quicker loading of arrows and a faster fire rate.
