Bosses appear throughout the Tomb Raider series. They are considered to be enemies with considerably more strength, agility, attacks and defence than the common enemies Lara faces throughout the games. In all Tomb Raiders, except Chronicles and Underworld, there was a boss at the very end of the game, appearing on the last level. Some Sub-Bosses also appeared during the middle of some Tomb Raider games since Tomb Raider III.
Main Bosses
The following list shows the main bosses and the recomended weapons to take them down.
- Jacqueline Natla (magnum recomended) in Tomb Raider, The Great Pyramid
- The Dragon (Uzis recomended) in Tomb Raider II Dragon's Lair
- The Willard Mutant (Rocket Launcher recomended) in Tomb Raider III, Meteorite Cavern
- Seth (immortal, but can be stunned by shotgun or the revolver) in The Last Revelation, In Temple of Horus
- Eckhardt and Karel (immortal) in The Angel of Darkness, Eckhardt's Lab
- Amanda Entity (Excalibur recomended) in Tomb Raider Legend, Bolivia Redux
- Jacqueline Natla (Mini SMG recomended) in Tomb Raider Anniversary, Lost Island - Final Conflict
The images show the last bosses at the end of the respective Tomb Raider game. Tomb Raider Chronicles did not contain a final boss since the game told a collection of stories, however there are stronger enemies throughout the game that could be considered a boss, but not a final boss.
