The ninth title of the series, which is just called "Tomb Raider", came out on March 5th 2013. It deals with how a 21-year-old Lara Croft became an adventurer after surviving a shipwreck. The title marks a reboot of the whole series. A reworked Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is scheduled for release in January of 2014. Game Elements
A Tomb Raider game usually consists of several levels of different length. In the Classic Tomb Raiders, as well as The Angel of Darkness a game section (taking place at the same location) consisted of several levels. Since Tomb Raider Legend and the usage of a streaming engine, a division of the sections is unnecessary. Only tradition brought back several levels in one location in Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider Underworld. Important in-game elements in Tomb Raider are Enemies, Traps and Puzzles. Characters
