The Imperial Hotel in Calcutta, India, is a location Lara visits in the original Tomb Raider and its remake Tomb Raider Anniversary.
Tomb Raider
In the year 1997 Lara's adventure and her quest for the Atlantean Scion begins in the Imperial Hotel. There her foe, Larson, interrupts her book reading as he has an offer to her from Jacqueline Natla.
Tomb Raider Anniversary
As a difference from the original events, the year is now 1996 when Lara is reading her father's diary. Larson Conway interrupts her yet again, just to tell her about an offer from Jacqueline Natla.
