Gems can be found in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. They can be collected inside the tombs. Sometimes they are hidden beneath loose floor tiles or inside Braziers and Vases, some and Enemies drop them when being killed.
Gems primarily increase the players score, but are also a kind of currency that can be used to open Treasure Chests where Lara and her companions find Amulets and Rings.
There are three kinds of gems: Bronze, silver, and golden, in order of value. Bronze gems start at 100 points, whereas gold ones can be worth as much as 1200 points.
