These enemies are very rare in the retail Tomb Raider games, There are only five, which you encounter in Tomb Raider 2. Despite their appearance they are quite weak, attack rarely and do relatively small amounts of damage. The Uzis kill them quickly, although any weapon can work.
In custom levels you may also encounter them, they look the same but are usually much more aggressive and are poisonous, however, they tend to be weak against the Revolver .
