The Browning Hi-Power is Lara's weapon of choice throughout the games. In the movies she relies on the Heckler & Koch USP Match instead.

The Browning Hi-Power is semi-automatic, single-action 9x19mm pistol. It was designed by legendary gun designer John Moses Browning in 1922, but he died in 1926 before it could be produced. That fell to Dieudonne Saive, a Belgian gun designer working for Fabrique Nationale. It's 13 round magazine capacity (with an optional extra bullet in the chamber) at the time of it's manufacture was the highest available. It is still produced and used to this day.
