Ankh

The Ankh is an artefact in the original Tomb Raider.
In general Ankh describes a certain kind of cross. The Amulet of Horus is also an Ankh. The ankh is also the egyptian amulet of life after death (immortality?) anubis is the most usual figure holding the ankh - while the orgins of the ankh can be dark the meaning is simple it probably means "life" the ankh commonly appears in tombs of old egyptian rulers. In the first three episodes of the Tomb Raider: Re/visioned animated series, an archaeologist discovers a way to bring people back from the dead using an ankh.
