Brave Adventurer is the sixth Level in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, taking place at Croft Manor (Shadow of the Tomb Raider) when Lara Croft was a child.
Story
When Lara falls asleep in the Peruvian Jungle, she dreams of a day in her childhood when she still lived at Croft Manor with her father. We find her in the garden where she is preparing for an adventure in the playground. Her plan is to scale the manor and enter a forbidden room in order to find the white queen, representing her mother. The way is not without its perils but she makes it to the room where she has to solve a puzzle involving a globe and a huge checkers set. She finally finds the white queen and it opens the path to her mother's room where everything seems to be as the day she died. Suddenly her father's voice gets agitated and a shot is heard. Lara rushes to his office and finds him dead, a gun in his hands.
