Obscura Paintings
The Paintings were seized by the Lux Veritatis from Eckhardt in the mid 15th century and painted over with religious imagery by Brother Obscura. Before the paintings were hidden, Brother Obscura made secret copies of the paintings, the Obscura Engravings which held the key to the locations of the original paintings. The Cabal were already in posession of three of the paintings, when they hired Werner to get the fourth for them in Paris.
The fourth painting was located underneath the Louvre in Paris, in a chamber guarded by Brother Obscura.
The fifth painting was hidden underneath the Strahov in Prague, in the ancient room of the Lux Veritatis, known as the Vault of Trophies.
Powers
The paintings have no power, but they do hold pieces of a very powerful artefact known as The Sanglyph.
