Intro from the Comic

Recently: Lara's adventure with her old friend, Joe Notafraid, took her on a wild ride through the dangers of western America. In search of the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine, Lara and Joe came face-to-face with a deadly new adversary named Lady Jasmine, and a bloody battle with the legendary Black Legion, the guardians of the mine. In the end Lara proved triumphant yet again, and foiled Lady Jasmine's plans. Lara now returns home where she finds that getting a good night's sleep is not as easy as it seems...

Story

For several days Lara is having the same dream over and over again. She's in Stonehenge, tied to the giant stones when a hooded man with a symbolic scar threatens her with a Crystal Dagger. After waking from the nightmare at 4:25 AM Lara her telephone rings. An old friend by the name of Madelynn "Maddie" Livingston is on the other end, asking Lara to come to the Salisbury plain, to Stonehenge.

Lara arrives at Stonehenge in the morning. A demonstration against ongoing roadworks is in progress. After introducing Lara to her assistants Trevor Doyle and Angela Tilly Maddie leads Lara underground, to a location unearthed during the roadworks, where a bluestone with the mythic symbol from her dreams greets Lara. Lara touches the symbol causing the stone block to shatter and revealing a Crystal Dagger. Lara is attacked from behind and looses conciousness for a short time. When she awakes, the crystal is gone and Angela lies stabbed on the ground. Trevor and Maddie are gone without a trace. Lara is questioned by Inspector Castleberry and asked not to leave the country until the murder is solved. The Inspector informs Lara that none of the construction workers has seen anyone leave.

While Lara sets off, one of the demonstrators, a young female named Cindy Beck, leaves in secrecy for her home in Amesbury, Wiltshire. She is startled when she finds Trevor Doyle in her apartment but then reports to him what Lara has told the authorities. Satisfied to hear that noone saw him leave, Trevor continues with his nasty plan. He stabs Cindy as the second of five sacrifices.

Lara, back at Croft Manor, takes a shower and afterwards switches on the television just to learn of Cindy's death. Moments later her phone rings again and Maddie is on the line telling Lara to meet her somewhere.

Lara arrives at their secret meeting place but they are interrupted by Trevor who attacks Lara and kills Maddie.
