In the early demo versions of the game, showcased at community events and conventions, one of the upgrade types containing similarly named upgrades was called Combat Skills Upgrades.

There was also a single upgrade called Hunter, which was one of the Ingenuity Upgrades. It was one of the first upgrades that can be purchased, among Arrow Retrieval and Survivalist.
