New Mexico is a location Lara visits in a comic and also in Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Anniversary.
It's one of the states of the United States located in the western and southwestern areas of the country.[1]
In Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Anniversary

New Mexico also appears as a location in both the original Tomb Raider and its remake Tomb Raider Anniversary: Jaqueline Natla was imprisoned underground in Los Alamos, a town in New Mexico, until a nuclear explosion released her.
