The continent of Africa is a popular location within the Tomb Raider universe. Lara's first known visit to it is in her Atlantean Scion adventure told in Tomb Raider and the remake Tomb Raider Anniversary, where she travels to Egypt.
African Locations
- Lara visits Egypt several times: while searching for a part of the Atlantean scion in 1996 (Tomb Raider/Tomb Raider Anniversary) and to explore the tomb of Seth in 1999 (Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation).
- She also explores parts of Egypt when searching for the Amulet of Mareish in the first novel The Amulet of Power.
