The Maria Doria is a sunken ship Lara visits in Tomb Raider II.

It was the ship of Gianni Bartoli, the deceased father of Marco Bartoli. The father of Brother Chan was responsible for sinking the ship. Their mission was to keep the Seraph, which was on board, from being used by Gianni Bartoli.

The name of the ship must have been taken from the Andrea Doria, a real ship. Many elements also bear some esthetical similarities with the Titanic (windows, pavement, among others).

The ship is also mentioned by Lara on reading on of the books that lie scattered around Croft Manor in Tomb Raider: Anniversary.
