A Pass Card is a electronic device found in the Offshore Rig Levels, in Tomb Raider 2.
They are only found in this part of Tomb Raider 2. They come in four colours; the colours are Yellow, Red, Green and Blue.
Information
Pass Cards temporarily replace keys in this section of Tomb Raider 2, as Lara is in an Offshore Rig where everything is electrical, and the Pass Cards seem to fit this technological environment.
Pass Cards are inserted similarly into their receptacle as a key. The Pass Card Slots are the same colour as the Pass Card itself, so confusion of where Pass Cards go is at a minimum (that at any one time, you can only have only one pass card).
Some Pass Cards are dropped by enemies, and so they must be killed in order to get it. Some Pass Cards are found in glass containers, or in small holes in the ground. One Pass Card is guarded by a killer electronic saw, which requires a Machine Chip in order to deactivate it.
All the Pass Cards in the Offshore Rig Levels open doors, no other function.
Pass Card Look
As said before, the four colours are red, blue, yellow and green. In total, in the two levels, there are five pass cards (the Red Pass Card is used twice, and it is unknown whether this is the same pass card each time).
On each pass card is the symbol of the Dagger of Xian seen repeatably throughout the game. On the back is a mess of electronic equipment for the Pass Card Slot to analyze.
Locations of Pass Card and Receptacle
The following information will show the vague location of the Pass Card and its slot.
