  • Midas' Golden Lara
In the Tomb Raider-Level Palace of Midas, Lara can use the hand of Midas to turn the Lead Bars to Gold Bars. According to Legend, Midas could turn anything he touched to gold. When Lara steps onto his hands, she herself will be turned into gold, resulting in her death.
In the Tomb Raider IV-Level Cleopatra's Palaces Lara has to step on a certain floor tile. Once she picks up the Medipack lying there, a magical spiral will start spinning around her and on the opposite side a golden copy will appear standing amidst another spiral. This statue will be attacked by Harpys throughout the game. Lara has to keep her save, as any damage dealt to the copy, is dealt to her.
