Xbox Live

Xbox Live is the online network for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One gaming consoles as well as the newer Windows Operating Systems (8 and higher), all of which are made by American software manufacturer Microsoft.

The competing network for Sonys line of PlayStation consoles is called PlayStation Network.

Overview

Xbox Live can be used to connect to other players and play Multiplayer games, download additional content or whole games, and collect Achievements, rewards for completing certain tasks in games.
