Sheila is a character appearing briefly in the comic Tomb Raider: The Beginning. She's also referred to in the in-game document Whitman: Don't Leave Me in Tomb Raider (2013).
She is the former wife of James Whitman.
Life
Sheila's relationship with James Whitman dates way back to the times when James Whitman was "nothing", and according to James Whitman Sheila has seen what he is capable of achieving.[1]
At the time of the events in Tomb Raider: The Beginning, Sheila is cleaning up their house from James Whitman's "old stuff", valuable antiques. She intends to leave their house after she's been through with it to James Whitman, and in change get the bank account and the rest in the divorce process.[2]
Characterization
James Whitman describes Sheila "not being reasonable" in what it comes to splitting up their possessions.[3]
Family
Sheila has very recently divorced James Whitman, leaving him almost nothing of his antiques or any other of his possessions. It is implied that James Whitman has had some sort of an affair with another woman, which presumably lead to the divorce.[4]
