Elias was one of the Remnant who accompanied Sophia into the Siberian Wilderness in order to collect healing Herbs from the woods. He gets killed right in front of her when he is shot in the head by Trinity soldiers after he was already overpowered. This is the first time we see that Trinity does not take prisoners but rather kills those that are at their mercy.
Not much is known about Elias. Every bit of information about him comes from the Diary of Resistance set of Documents. It seems that Sophia was somewhat close to him and that she blames herself for his death.
