The Scavenger's Den Demo was an early demo of the first level in Tomb Raider (2013). It was shown at Community Events, e.g. at the Square Enix offices in Hamburg, Germany, as well as the E3 in 2011.
An Easter Egg that didn't make it into the release was the Wilson volleyball that was placed throughout the den.
