Larson is an enemy in the original Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider Chronicles and Tomb Raider Anniversary.

Appearance

In Tomb Raider Larson wears a red shirt, a brown vest, blue jeans and a pair of brown boots. His weapon is a handgun with a lasersight attached to it.

In Tomb Raider Chronicles his outer appearance is pretty much the same, his weapon has only changed to a revolver.

In Tomb Raider Anniversary, Larson's appearance has changed quite a lot. His fair hair is shorter, and he wears a blue shirt alongside grey pants. He also has a some sort of a brown weapon vest around him, where he carries his shotgun.

Story

Main article: Larson Conway

Larson didn't have a surname or a biography in the original Tomb Raider and in Tomb Raider Chronicles. He is often depicted as a bit of a halfwitted man, which Pierre DuPont attributes to the fact that Larson was "kicked in the head by a horse" in some part of his life.[1]

In Tomb Raider Anniversary, Larson was given a surname, Conway, and an unlockable biography revealing details about his past life.

Strategy

In Tomb Raider Larson is first encountered after exiting the Tomb of Qualopec. He can be defeated by just shooting at him, preferably from a safe spot since he can cause rather much damage. After shooting him for a while, a cutscene ,where Larson is knocked unconscious by Lara, starts. The second time Larson is encountered is the room with the last Scion piece in Sanctuary of the Scion. There he lurks behind pillars. There defeating him requires move moving and shooting, not letting him get behind Lara.

In Tomb Raider Chronicles Larson is encountered in Trajan's Markets. He is defeated rather quickly by just shooting at him.

In Tomb Raider Anniversary the two encounters with Larson (first in Peru - Tomb of Qualopec, then in Lost Island - Natla's Mines) are Interactive Cutscenes, so Larson isn't actually fought against by traditional means.
