Upgrades in Rise of the Tomb Raider need specific Resources.

Tier I

Cost:
Stronger limbs allow for increased string tension and faster arrow speeds for more damage.
Applied to all bows.
Cost:
Wrapped grip provides better handling of the bow and faster draw speed.
Applied to all bows.
Cost:
Hide wrapped bow string around the nock decreases finger tension for additional hold time..
Applied to all bows.
Cost:
Arrow nocks on the bow string allow for quicker loading of arrows and a faster fire rate.
Applied to all bows.

Tier II

Cost:
Wax creates a more flexible string which makes drawing smoother and faster.
Applied to all bows.
Cost:
An arrow rest on the shaft makes loading arrows easier and faster.
Applied to all recurve bows.

A custom release makes holding a fully drawn string much easier, increasing hold time.
Applied to all compound bows.
Cost:
A refined set of limbs allows for more draw tension for increased damage with each shot.
Applied to all compound bows.

Tier III

Cost:
Soft hide glove decreases finger tension on a fully drawn string, increasing hold time.
Applied to all recurve and horn bows.
Cost:
Better shaft backing allows for increased draw weight which increases damage.
Applied to all recurve bows.
Cost:
Byzantine-style antler firing release allows for faster draw and increased shooting speed.
Applied to all horn bows.
Cost:
Stabilizer equalizes bow weight balance and drift after firing, allowing for faster redraw and firing.
Applied to all compound bows.
Cost:
Cams are refined to increase draw tension fall off, making for increased hold time at full draw.
Applied to all compound bows.

Cost:
Forming improvements increases shaft strength allowing for increased hold time.
Applied to all recurve bows.
Cost:
Forming improvements increases shaft strength allowing for increased hold time.
Applied to all horn bows.
