Tomb Raider: The Dark Angel

The Dark Angel

Tomb Raider: The Dark Angel is a proposed studio version of the musical score for Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, and Tomb Raider Chronicles, originally created by Peter Connelly. The project was announced on 27 August 2018 and will be financed using a Kickstarter campaign.

The first Kickstarter campaign started on 1 October 2018 and ran until the end of the month, but was unsuccessful in raising the £180,000 Peter aimed for. If it had been successful, the project was to release a re-imagined version of the original soundtrack rearranged for orchestra alongside the remastered original versions.

A second campaign - subtitled "Reborn in Shadows" - was set up on 1 November 2018 with a financing goal of only £60,000 that will not include an orchestra but rather a version done by Peter himself using synthesizers; however, the campaign includes four stretch goals of up to £300,000. If he manages to raise the originally aimed for £180,000 this time around, the orchestra will be back!

The original Kickstarter campaign was backed not only by fans of the music of Peter Connelly, but also by musical professionals. Note that participation of most of the people listed below is now due to reaching the corresponding stretch goal.
