Nagant

Nagant Revolver

The Nagant Revoler is a weapon in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Lara acquires the Nagant revolver in Siberia after entereing the Soviet Installation. She uses it to shot two Trinity Soldiers torturing a Remnant through a glass window; her Bow would not have been powerful enough to penetrate the glass.

An older pistol balanced for a variety of situations.

There are 8 upgrades available for the Nagant revolver, all of which are shared between all or some of the other hand guns, and divided into four tiers.

Tier 1

• Polished Barrel

Cost:

A polished barrel decreases shot deviancy, increasing damage.

Applied to all pistols.

• Hollowed Hammer

Cost:

A lighter hammer allows less jamming, resulting in a higher fire rate.

Applied to all pistols.

• Muzzle Break

Cost:

Redirects gases released when firing to counter recoil and unwanted raising of the barrel.

Applied to all pistols.

Tier 2

• Hair Trigger

Cost:

Increased trigger sensitivity allows for increased rate of fire.

Applied to all pistols except heavy pistol.

• Padded Grip

Cost:

Improved grip allows for a more comfortable hold and better recoil compensation.

Applied to all pistols with a cylinder.

Tier 3

• Rifled Barrel

Cost:

Barrel rifling allows for a smoother, more precise shot, increasing damage.

Applied to all pistols.

• Speed Loader

Cost:

The custom loader increases reload speed by allowing reloading of multiple bullets at once.

Applied to all pistols with a cylinder.

Tier 4

• Chromoly Barrel

Cost: 18 Salvage, 1 Chromite, 2 Technical Parts

A super smooth barrel means shot fired with no resistance for increased damage.

Applied to all pistols with a cylinder.
