China
China is one of the locations Lara visits twice; in the Games, in Tomb Raider II and the Movies in The Cradle of Life. Both times she visits the Great Wall.
Tomb Raider II
China is the first location Lara visits in Tomb Raider II, in search of the entrance to the Temple of Xian. However, after a trip across and through the Great Wall, she learns that to enter the temple she will need a "key". Following the trail of another interested party she leaves for Venice soon after. Later she returns to China with the Talion obtained in Tibet to open the entrance to the Temple of Xian, explore it and the Floating Islands and then enter the Dragon's Lair to find the resting place of the Dagger of Xian.

The Cradle of Life
The second occasion was in the Movie Cradle of Life, where she is searching for the Shay-Ling who have taken the Orb she found in the Luna Temple from her. Apart from visiting the Shay-Ling in their hideout Lara and Terry travel to Shanghai and Hong Kong.
