The Tripwire is a trap found in Tomb Raider III, in High Security Compound and Area 51.
The trap consists of a fine wire, usually located near the floor that, one touched by Lara, will either hurt her or set off a gun turret. The wire is hard to spot and colored light green or yellow. The gun turret will also be set off if Lara shoot it (she automatically aims at them).
