Creating a new article

First make certain that the item you want to write about is not already in the WikiRaider database

• search the name most likely used for it
• search alternative names
• you could also look over all pages but that would take some time...
• search for related items and look for links there

(If you find it under another name, please set a redirect to it.)

If you are sure it does not exist, make sure the name you pick is in compliance with the Naming conventions, also check the naming conventions when you followed a red link, the person who added the internal link might have forgotten.

When this is done get to the article page by any of the following methods:

• enter it in the search field and click go
• enter the url

Then click on "create this page".

Creating a Redirect

If you want to create a redirect to an already existing article (e.g. you have found that there is no article of redirect under Bat, however there is an article Bats. You may want to set up a redirect under Bat.

Put the following on the Bat-Page:

• #REDIRECT [[Bats]]
