In October 2014 Tomb Raider: The Ten Thousand Immortals was released, the first book in a new series of Tomb Raider novels, continuing the reboot time-line established in the 2013 Tomb Raider: A Survivor is Born. The book sets off where the game ended: After their return to civilization Lara and Sam have to deal with getting back to normal life.
