Dart Traps are the first traps Lara encounters in Tomb Raider, they can be found in many of the games afterwards.
When Lara follows the footprints of wolves in the first Level of Tomb Raider 1, she will come past the first set. They are not poisonous. You can identify them by the slots in the walls. They can be found throughout Peru.
There are two ways to get past. Either just run past or swandive over them. The second method is more complicated.
