They are not really the same. The rolling spindle is one rolling blade with a spike protruding from the side. They are usually found in greater numbers, but they operate independent. Though I am not quite sure which one the blade discs really are, they look like one big contraption. The description for blade disks says "crawl underneath" - not an option with the rolling spindles, you just avoid them, and the don't come out of walls. They are not really the same. The rolling spindle is one rolling blade with a spike protruding from the side. They are usually found in greater numbers, but they operate independent. Though I am not quite sure which one the blade discs really are, they look like one big contraption.
