The Sawblades are traps first appearing in the South Pacific region of Tomb Raider III and reappearing in Tomb Raider Anniversary and Lara Croft: Relic Run.

Tomb Raider III

They come rotating out of the wall and then disappear again. In some cases it is advised to crawl underneath, in others you simply need to wait for the right opportunity. They can kill Lara quickly. In most cases the first contact is deadly.

Lara Croft: Relic Run

These blades generally are found in one of the outer lanes. They however can be extended into the middle lane. When they come as set your only way past is to either slide underneath, or to jump over them. When there is only one of these in an area with three clear lanes, you can sidestep them by switching into the far lane.
