In Tomb Raider 1-3 you could find a classical movable crate. It was just a simple cube which was refined in the later games.Since Tomb Raider IV there were also different Movable Objects like vases, statues, differently shaped rocks and more.
To move a crate Lara has to stand in front of it in the middle of the object. You then press action and forward to push or backwards to pull. She can push it if there is at least one square behind the object, or pull it if there are at least two free squares behind her.
In the first games you could climb onto movable crates. Since Tomb Raider 4 till Tomb Raider 5 that wasn't possible any more. In Angel of Darkness it was possible again.
