Yakuza is the Japanese mafia which has significant influence within the Japanese society. The Yakuza were first introduced in Comic Issue 13. More recently they are featured in the game Legend.
Comic Issue 13
Lara tries to retrieve a Jade Statue that was stolen by Chu, a Yakuza boss.
Tomb Raider Legend
Lara Croft crosses paths with the Yakuza when she tries to acquire an Excalibur fragment that was stolen by Shogo Takamoto, a Yakuza Boss, by force.
Within the game, Shogo Takamoto's security was composed of two types of Yakuza members. (see Yakuza Goons)
