Cheats (or Cheatcodes) enable the gamer to manipulate the game to run differently.

There are two varieties of these cheats, those that have been integrated in the game and can be triggered by certain button combinations and those that can be activated by cheat-programs like Action Replay and similar.

A cheat may be a Weapons Cheat, Unlimited Ammo Cheat, Level Skip, Fly Cheat (DOZY) and more...

A person who cheats in order to win can also be called cheat.
