To move a crate Lara has to stand in front of it in the middle of the object. You then press action and forward to push or backwards to pull. She can push it if there is at least one square behind the object, or pull it if there are at least two free squares behind her. This has changed with [[Angel of Darkness]].
 
 
 
In the first games you could climb onto movable crates. Since Tomb Raider 4 till Tomb Raider 5 that wasn't possible any more. In [[Angel of Darkness]] it was possible again.

Movable Crate (AoD)
The movable crate is a special case of the movable Block, the major difference is, that these are made of wood or cardboard and in the later games were smaller in size.

In the Classic games there is a Bug associated with these crates, the Crate Bug.
