The Grappling Gun is a gun you can use to grapple Lara to higher ledges, especially in Tomb Raider Chronicles. The grapple is a rope attached to a little hook which can then be used just like an ordinary rope. It comes equipped with laser sight.
The Grappling Gun ammo can only attach to special types of surfaces, like grates on the ceiling. When the Grappling Gun is aimed at a suitable surface, the dot on the target turns from red to green.
