The Yetis are mythical ape-like creatures that are said to live in the Himalayas region.
The first Yetis encountered, are feature in the Catacombs of the Talion level in Tomb Raider II and similar creatures, the Sasquatch, also feature in The Golden Mask (Tomb Raider 2 Gold). Yetis also make an appearance in the Shangri-La Comic arc. In Tomb Raider Underworld Lara meets Thralls that have once been Yeti, before coming into contact with the Eitr.
