When [[Lara]] or any of her companions in [[Multiplayer]] mode collect the Max Ammo Upgrade, the [[Ammo Bar]] gets longer so that the player can deal more damage over a longer period of time by using high powered weapons. Also, the Ammo Bar is instantaneously refilled to the maximum value.

A second kind pick-up, the [[Max Health Upgrade]], extends the [[Health Bar]] of the character, thus enabling him or her to take more damage from [[Enemies|enemy]] fire.

In [[Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light]] the Max Ammo Upgrades are simply called [[Ammo Upgrades]].
