It's found lying under a [[Sword Chandelier]], which omniously crumbles a bit when Lara approaches the key. As soon as Lara has picked it up, the [[Sword Chandelier]] will crash down crushing her, unless Lara quickly evades it.

After obtaining the key and avoiding the [[trap]], Lara must find a way to exit the [[Damocles Room]] by solving the [[Damocles Riddle]].
