Using the [[Combat Knife]] she can free herself and then climb out of the cave through a narrow shaft into a bigger cavern where she discovers a [[Maya]] pyramid. [[Jonah Maiava]] joins her and together they discover a stele with a Maya date on it that seems to be damaged on porous. Before they can make sense of it Lara inadvertently steps on a detonator - presumably left behind by [[Trinity]] - that destroys the cave.
